چکیده

Tuerkayana is of particular interest because it has been separated, in recent years, from Cardisoma and Discoplax but studies its taxonomic status, especially a whole mitochondrial genome perspective, have lacking. In this study, the mitogenomes four species (Tuerkayana magnum, rotundum, hirtipes, celeste) are sequenced contrasted with other Brachyura for first time. The phylogenetic tree Brachyura, which includes 206 crab (189 Brachyuran 17 Anomura species) complete mitogenome, was constructed to evaluate position Gecarcinidae within Brachyuran, explore monophyly Gecarcinidae. Furthermore, two single gene trees based on cox1 16SrRNA separately interspecies were reconstructed, providing molecular evidence further clarifying division genera Based mitogenome dataset crabs, branch-site model utilized selective pressure individual codons CodeML. strong shown nad6 indicates that may played significant role evolution

Whole-genome-based phylogeny and divergence of the genus Brucella.

Brucellae are worldwide bacterial pathogens of livestock and wildlife, but phylogenetic reconstructions have been challenging due to limited genetic diversity. We assessed the taxonomic and evolutionary relationships of five Brucella species-Brucella abortus, B. melitensis, B. suis, B. canis, and B. ovis-using whole-genome comparisons. We developed a phylogeny using single nucleotide polymorphi...

Molecular phylogeny of the genus Buteo (Aves: Accipitridae) based on mitochondrial marker sequences.

DNA sequences of the mitochondrial nd6 gene and the non-repetitive part of the pseudo-control region (PsiCR) were isolated from 101 individuals to analyze the phylogenetic relationships among all buzzards of the genus Buteo and other buteonine genera. Comparisons of the two marker sequences indicate that the PsiCR evolved two times faster than the nd6 gene. The PsiCR proved to be an efficient, ...

The description of a new species of the Neotropical land crab genus Gecarcinus Leach, 1814 (Crustacea, Decapoda, Brachyura, Gecarcinidae)

In this contribution a new species of the land crab genus Gecarcinus Leach, 1814, from the Neotropical Pacific coast of South America is described and illustrated. In addition to its unique body color, Gecarcinus nobilii sp. n. is distinguished from congeners by a distinctly wider carapace front and differences in the shape of the infraorbital margin. The new species is not isolated from Gecarc...

A Molecular Phylogeny of Hemiptera Inferred from Mitochondrial Genome Sequences

Classically, Hemiptera is comprised of two suborders: Homoptera and Heteroptera. Homoptera includes Cicadomorpha, Fulgoromorpha and Sternorrhyncha. However, according to previous molecular phylogenetic studies based on 18S rDNA, Fulgoromorpha has a closer relationship to Heteroptera than to other hemipterans, leaving Homoptera as paraphyletic. Therefore, the position of Fulgoromorpha is importa...
